I sit out on my front porch with a breeze promising rain blowing through my hair. Greg and I talk about where we've been, where we're headed. Everything is so easy when summer is here. The time I have for kids, for plans, for reading, for listening to sweet Gemma Hayes. We're in the midst here of downshifting, a well-paid postion traded for something less. It's not such a bad thing. I breathe in and out and gratitude spills from my hands like petals.
