Senator John McCain believes in global warming. Hallelujah on that one, we need all the help we can get to change environmental policy in this country. Maybe he can convince all those other skeptic Republicans out there that we have a problem on our hands.
A sticker is on trial today, one in a textbook in Georgia that warns that evolution is a theory, not fact.
A majority of our citizens, it seems, believe that our country is being run by moral people, and that they must keep these moral people in office, while (as I cited yesterday) the infant mortality rate goes up, the number of people on health insurance goes down, our army kills thousands of people, and ruins an entire country's infrastructure.
A good deal of people continue to believe that somehow Saddam Hussein was linked to 9/11.
I'm wondering, are Americans just living in lala land, believing whatever they want to believe while the world falls down around us? Why is this okay?
