This is one of those entries where I'm talking to myself. But, Reader, you are welcome here.

Here's the rub. This judging stuff has got to stop, ms. sparrow. You know that the judgements you pronounce on others only come back to haunt you. It is wrong, it is hurtful to others and it clogs up love. All these great books you read on unconditional love go over this again and again. You know that you of all people are in the least position to look at other human beings as if they are less than you. That's what judging does--it's one pitiful way of looking at someone as other, as less than worthy. It's a crappy way to boost yourself up, and it diminishes everyone to go flinging more judgementalism into this extraordinarily wayward world. And don't think it's okay to use it as a defense either, to think, well she really doesn't like me, what's so special about her anyway? I don't need her; she's not worth my time. Excuse me, don't you subscribe to the belief that everyone is equally worthy? Haven't you said that you have so much to learn from everyone? Really, you've got to get a grip. Let's go over it one more time--all of us, ALL of us are of immeasurable worth in God's eyes. That is the vision you must seek.
