school is in full swing. suddenly i can focus and that is very very good.

it's been months since i sought out quiet. there is so much innerwork to be done. in my free time i read (this means twenty minutes before i turn out the light.) and today, at the library, i checked out a trio of chick books--bridget jones the edge of reason, the devil wears prada, and little earthquakes. quirky funny books. to escape.

but the books on the back burner include the dance of the dissident daughter and the mermaid chair, and anything by marcus borg. yesterday, i started reading borg's work online and found some kind of resonance. it was that kind of prickly, ohi'msofarawayfromallthatmattersandthis
meanssomethingsoineedtositbackandreadandrestinit.
