Kicking it out.

This evening, about 8:30, a friend called. There is a teaching position that just opened up today in a nearby school corporation. She, holding a high administrative position in this corporation, urged me to apply. Ten minutes later, I had a job interview scheduled. I've spent the last three hours working on resume and cover letter. Tomorrow I pick up an app. Friday, the interview. This could be a very good thing. I'm not holding my breath here. Every time I thought a door was opening for me this spring and summer, it didn't happen. Still....
