The weekend was summer, early. Hours outside doing yard work, finally. I'm learning gardening as I go--it takes a long time to vision what I want in the end. Last night, dinner at a sushi place in Fort Wayne with Greg and the kids, my first paycheck celebratory meal a bit belated and combined with Mother's Day. At Borders, my son asking me what I wanted for the big day and me, browsing cd's, looking for the Mammals latest, found the essential Cindy Lauper. Why not? "This. I'd like this for Mother's Day." And so I have it, 14 tracks of the 80's finestgirlmusic. Life is good. Sunny, warm, and she bopping.
