And so it's off to Nashville for the weekend to see the awesome Bananie. This is the second annual event. We'll visit Sarah and her lovely family, maybe go and check out a club, hopefully catch up with James, and attend a wedding. Oh yes, and walk the dog down to the Bongo Java in the morning for a cup. Last year we attended a worship service honoring MLK. I'm hoping for more of the same. Here is what Anne has taught me: to listen, really listen for the words inside. That grace never fails us--even when times are hard. That there is beauty waiting to be recorded in the minute, the mundane, the everyday. That there is meaning to be found in the gray times, the waiting times, the whatamisupposedtodonexttimes. I can't wait to see her. Have a beautiful weekend, ya'll.
